Should I Get Insurance?

Depending on your regions regulations, you may or may not be required to carry liability insurance. If you are not required, and you have the funds available, it is recommended to obtain liability insurance for your rental company. How Much Insurance Will I Need?

The amount of insurance needed varies by region. In some areas the minimum can be one million or less. In others the minimum might be two million or more. You will need to check with your local schools and parks departments to verify the amount. You might find that most require liability insurance with $1,000,000 per occurrence and $2,000,000 annual aggregate.

There is a growing number of companies that offer reasonably priced insurance for the bounce house rental industry. Different companies can offer different rates and coverage. Be sure to get quotes from a few providers before deciding on which one fits your needs best. Most companies base their rates on the number of rental items in your inventory and your annual revenue.
